Billing Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

These are the most common questions our billing department answers.

How will I be invoiced for my account?

To set-up your account, we accept all major credit cards (VISA, MasterCard and American Express). Except when a customer wishes to pre-pay for three (3) or more months at a time, we DO NOT accept checks.

Subscribers are charged in advance for the following billing period.

Regardless of payment method, no invoice will be mailed to you via postal mail. Instead, you will receive your invoices via your Silicon Dairy e-mail address. If you are not planning on using your Silicon Dairy e-mail address, you should forward your e-mail to an address you will check regularly.

What is a "Prorated" amount and why is it on my bill?

We bill accounts 4 times a month. Billing dates are on the 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th of every month. When a customer opens an account, they are assigned one of these dates. If a customer signed up or added a service to their account in between one of these dates, a "prorated" amount will be charged to cover the extra period of time.

Can I pre-pay for my service?

You can prepay your account any amount you would like by simply calling Customer Service to make a credit card payment, or send a check via postal mail for the amount you wish to pre-pay. The pre-paid amount will appear as a credit toward your account.
