Configure Your Dial-Up Connection

For help on configuring your dial-up connection, choose your Operating System by clicking one of the images to the right.

If you do not know your Operating System:
For Windows computers (commonly known as PCs), click the "Start" button in the lower-left corner of the screen. The name of your operating system will appear along the left side of the menu that pops up. If it does not, click on the "My Computer" icon with the RIGHT mouse button and choose "Properties" from the menu that pops up. A window with your operating system name and version will appear.

For Macintosh computers, click the small apple-shaped icon in the upper-left corner of the screen and choose "About This Macintosh" from the menu. A window will appear with the version of your operating system.

My Operating System Isn't Listed Here:
It is possible to connect with any Operating System that supports PPP with PAP authentication (Windows 3.1, MacOS 9.0 or below, and Linux can all connect perfectly, for example). However, Silicon Dairy, LLC. may be unable to provide support for systems not listed on this page.

Once you've configured your dial-up connection and have connected to the Internet, you should ensure your computer is up to date.

Downloading the latest updates for your computer protects you from ->Worms, ->Trojans, and unauthorized access.
