Microsoft Outlook Express Microsoft Outlook Express is the mail application included with Internet Explorer on most versions of Microsoft Windows. If your operating system is Windows 98 or newer, chances are, you already have Outlook Express installed on your computer. Please Note: "Outlook" and "Outlook Express" are not the same mail application. Be sure you know which version of Outlook you're using before proceeding with this guide. | Launch the Outlook Express application, and click on Tools menu, then select Accounts... |
| Now click the Add button and click Mail... |
| When asked for a Display Name, you may enter anything you wish. This is the name that will appear in messages you send to your contacts in the "From" field. Once entered, click Next. |
| Select I already have an e-mail address that I'd like to use, then type in your Silicon Dairy e-mail address. When ready click Next. |
| Select POP3 for your incoming mail server.
For Incoming mail server type in: pop.silicondairy.net
Outgoing mail server type in: mail.silicondairy.net
When ready click Next. |
| Account Name is the same as Username, or the first half of your e-mail address before the @ symbol.
In the Password field type in your Silicon Dairy password.
Make sure that Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA) is NOT checked.
Click Next when ready. |
| Your mail has been successfully configured. You will now be able to send and receive mail using Microsoft Outlook Express. Click Finish.
