Accessing Your Personal Web Space

You can access your Personal Web Space much like any other ordinary file folder on your computer. This guide shows you how.

Step 1

Double-click on the My Network Places icon on your computer's desktop. This will open the My Network Places window.

Step 2

You should see an icon to the Network Place you created in the ->Creating a Network Place to Your Personal Web Space. Double-click on it.

Step 3

You will be asked to type in your Silicon Dairy username and password. Your username is the first half of your e-mail address before the @-symbol.

You can check the Save Password box to have Windows XP remember the username and password for the next time you want to access your Personal Web Space.

Step 4

Once logged in, a window will display showing the contents of your Personal Web Space. If this is the first time you've accessed it, you'll only see a "Gallery" folder present.

You can treat this windows as if it was any ordinary file folder on your computer. Dragging-and-dropping files and folders to and from this window will automatically change the contents of your Personal Web Space.

When you're done managing your Personal Web Space files, simply close the window.

Did you set up your Network Place first?

If you haven't already, you will need to follow the ->Create a Network Place guide in order to access your Personal Web Space using this method.
